Are there different ways to use SimplyAgree?

Did you know that a signature page in SimplyAgree does not necessarily have to have a signature on it? In SimplyAgree, a signature page can refer to any page with which a signatory interacts.  SimplyAgree is an efficient tool for obtaining signatures and compiling documents, but did you know SimplyAgree can do more than just gather signature pages?

Execute Secretary of State Forms

Articles of Organization, Articles of Amendment, and even Articles of Merger can be complicated forms that require in-depth information about a signatory and/or an entity. SimplyAgree allows users to complete forms by requesting that their signatory add their personal information directly into the form and it is sent securely to the SimplyAgree user. This eliminates the need for attorneys, paralegals, and assistants to utilize multiple means of communication to obtain information and execute forms. By adding required Custom Text eSign fields to Secretary of State forms, signatories will be required to insert the requested information before they are able to "Finish" signing in DocuSign.

Please note: While many states allow electronic signatures on their forms, some do require scans of wet ink signatures or even originals - be sure to review each state's requirements before sending signature pages.

Voting

SimplyAgree can be a tool to quickly and easily send ballots, allow individuals to submit ballots, and tally votes - just take advantage of SimplyAgree's optional checkbox tool. The signatory list on the Transaction Overview page will give you the status of each vote at-a-glance, and the Signer Status Report provides a comprehensive signing checklist.

Quick Tip: Make sure your message to voters is clear, especially if instructions specify how many votes should be cast.

Accredited Investor Questionnaires, 83(b) Elections, and Other Exhibits

Complex documents such as Subscription Agreements and Rollover Agreements often have exhibits that require personal information such as home address, phone and fax numbers, or information regarding the signatory's finances. By using a combination optional and required custom text eSign fields, any exhibit can be fully executed through SimplyAgree.

IRS documents

SimplyAgree is an efficient tool to execute and compile IRS documents including Powers of Attorney, corporate election forms, and many more.

Please note: Some IRS forms such as W-9 and SS-4 can be executed electronically, but most IRS forms require scans of wet ink signatures.
