Add custom fields to signature blocks

If you're using InstaPages and want to include custom data — such as investment amount or number of shares — you can add custom fields to the Manifest page and then you'll have the option to include them on the InstaPage.

If you import your signatory data from Excel templates, you can add the custom fields in the Manifest first, then download the Excel template, and it will include columns for the custom fields. Please see more here.

To add the custom fields to the InstaPage:

  1. Open the document with the InstaPage
  2. Click on the InstaPage
  3. Click the signature block to open the side panel
  4. Click on the Fields tab
  5. Scroll down. Below the optional fields of Signing Date, Email, and Address, you'll now see all the custom fields you've added. They will not be selected by default.
  6. Click on the custom fields you'd like to be included on this InstaPage. You'll see them pop up on the Signature block preview.
  7. When the client goes to sign the page, the data will either be already filled out (if you've entered data for them on the Manifest page) or they'll be able to enter the data themselves at the time of signing.

Enter custom field data in the Manifest page.

  1. Once you've added your custom fields
  2. Click on a signatory name to open their profile
  3. You'll now see a field for each custom field you've added to the transaction.
  4. Enter in a value for each field you'd like this signatory to have
  5. Then click Save
